CLIENT REQUIREMENT

An anonymized retailer wanted to sell handbags and leather accessories in Abu Dhabi and import the products directly rather than relying on a local distributor.

CHALLENGE

Retail activity alone does not automatically answer the importation requirement. The operating model also depended on a physical retail shop, so the premises had to be secured after initial approval and before licence issuance.

SOLUTION

The setup plan combined the dedicated leather-products retail activity with an importing activity and used an Abu Dhabi mainland structure so the client could operate the shop and handle its own import workflow.

WHY VANTABLACK

We map the supply chain as well as the point of sale. If the company intends to import its own inventory, the licence architecture must support that operation from day one.

CASE LOGICProduct range → retail activity + import capability → shop tenancy → licence.

Real client setup plan. The source document contained older tax wording that is not reproduced here; current tax and import rules are verified separately.
