Marble & Stone Cutting Workshop

An anonymized client wanted an Abu Dhabi mainland workshop for cutting, sizing, honing and polishing marble, granite and stone for construction use.

The workshop could not be treated like a normal office-based licence. The source investigation required a physical tenancy before issuance and a pre-licence approval from Abu Dhabi's DMT Public Health Department.

The investigation selected activity 2396003.1 and mapped the physical compliance requirements: extraction airflow, a separated AC system, appropriate crack-free flooring and provision of the service inside the approved workshop.

For workshop activities, the premises are part of the licence. We expose the technical fit-out requirements before the client signs the wrong lease.
